Injectable bio-structural gel developed by Orthoson Limited is the subject of a new funding round estimated at £3.1m. The Oxford-based company, incorporated in 2015, produces the treatment to restore the biology and mechanics of the intervertebral disc. This micro-invasive, one-session therapy is designed to provide conservative care options for patients and clinicians managing degenerative disc disease.
The UK-based medtech firm employs 18 people according to accounts for the year ended 30 June 2025. More recent data from LinkedIn indicates a headcount of 19 professionals working within the medical equipment manufacturing industry. The business operates the website orthoson.com and lists spine development as a primary specialty for its disruptive technologies, which focus on treating both pain and the causes of degeneration.
This capital injection constitutes the total funding raised by the entity during 2026. Formal documentation regarding the share allotment was processed in April.
