Developing a system to identify urinary tract infection (UTI) bacteria and antibiotic susceptibility within 60 minutes, Innotive Diagnostics Limited has secured an estimated £1.4m in new funding. The Bath-based company produces a cartridge-based, AI-enabled point-of-care diagnostic tool designed to help clinicians and patients achieve faster, targeted antibiotic prescribing.

The business was incorporated in 2019 to address the global healthcare burden of these infections, which the firm estimates costs $44bn annually in the US alone. Its technology is intended to improve antimicrobial stewardship.

This latest funding round results in an estimated post-money valuation of £19.5m. The capital contributes to a total of £1.5m raised so far in 2026, following a 2025 period where the company secured £3.1m.

Financial records for the year ended 31 December 2025 show the company had 29 employees at that time. More recent data from LinkedIn indicates a headcount of 24 staff members. Documentation for the share allotment was filed in May 2026.
