Antiverse raises £3.9m Series A for AI-driven antibody design

An estimated £3.9m Series A round has been raised by Antiverse Ltd to further develop its AI-driven platform for de novo antibody design. Based in Cardiff with additional offices in Boston, the company focuses on challenging drug targets including GPCRs and ion channels.
The technology combines machine learning with advanced cell line engineering to support pharmaceutical companies in the discovery of novel biologics.
Incorporated in 2017, the company reported having 15 employees in its latest accounts for the year ended 30 April 2025. More recent LinkedIn data suggests the workforce has grown to 30 people.
Michal Sikyta joined the board as a director in February, which aligns with the allotment date for the new shares. Professional profiles indicate that Sikyta is possibly a Managing Partner at Soulmates Ventures, an unverified AI match. Documentation for the funding was filed with Companies House in May.
