Sutton-based Med Automation secures £120k for healthcare AI assistant

AI-driven software developer Med Automation Ltd, trading as OTUA, has raised an estimated £120k. This latest round places the company at an estimated post-money valuation of £3.9m. The firm specializes in automated digital administration solutions, including an assistant called OTTO.

Designed to manage healthcare appointments and high-volume clerical tasks, the company provides AI voice and management services to the NHS and private healthcare organizations. Founded in 2023, the business reported a headcount of five employees in its accounts for the year ended 31 May 2025.

Documentation filed in April (allotted in March) indicates this round follows a £60k raise in February and a £75k Series A round in January, which was valued at £3.7m. Throughout the final quarter of 2025, the company secured two separate £70k investments in December, a £78k round in October, and a £177k seed round at a £3.4m valuation.

Earlier financial activity includes a £350k round in December 2024 at a £5m valuation, alongside a £70k investment during the same month.
