Edinburgh-based Eneus Energy secures £3.1m for green energy and data center projects

An estimated £3.1m has been raised by Edinburgh-based Eneus Energy Holdings Limited to aid its creation of green hydrogen and green ammonia projects. The company engineers systems to produce fuel from water, air, and renewable energy for zero-carbon transport, electricity generation, and energy storage requirements.
Founded in 2013, the enterprise also builds facilities designed to provide scalable power solutions for AI, cloud computing, and data-driven industries. Its operations focus on the intersection of land and digital platforms to support high-demand compute workloads. The group is currently active across strategic markets in the UK and the United States, where it partners with hyperscalers and operators.
Eight people are currently employed by the firm according to its LinkedIn profile. This recent capital injection follows a series of financing activities throughout 2025, including a pair of £2.1m events in January, a £1.2m raise in December, and a £1.8m tranche in October.
Prior to those dates, the entity secured £1.1m in September, £1m in June, and two separate £2.5m amounts in May. These followed a £906.6k deal in March and an £819.2k investment at the end of 2024. Documentation for the equity increase was filed in April, following a share allotment coinciding with that spring transaction.
