Somerset cheesemaker Fratelli Amodio secures £400k in new funding

A Somerset-based producer of fresh cheeses, Fratelli Amodio Ltd, has secured £400.1k in its latest funding round. This investment places the company at an estimated post-money valuation of £2.4m. Operating from Compton Martin, the business manufactures Fior di Latte Mozzarella and Ricotta for trade and retail markets across the United Kingdom.
The company was incorporated in 2021 to address demand for authentic Italian dairy varieties among domestic consumers. These previous capital raises include a £150k round in March 2024 at a £1.2m valuation, and a £76.5k round in January 2023 which valued the firm at £450k.
Latest financial accounts for the year ended 30 April 2025 indicate that the company maintained a team of four employees. Documentation for the share issuance was filed in June, relating to a share allotment originally completed in October 2025.
