Contactless workforce attendance and compliance monitoring systems are the focus of Newry-based Exact Comms Ltd, which has just secured an estimated £511.8k in new funding. This latest round places the company at a post-money valuation of £4.7m. The platform utilizes Bluetooth technology and wearables alongside battery-powered beacons to automatically record staff presence and location without requiring Wi-Fi connectivity or manual check-ins.

The technology provides facility management operators with real-time data via a cloud-based dashboard to meet regulatory requirements, offering automated alerts to management when standards drop or staff fail to arrive. Founded in 2022, the business serves a range of sectors including security, cleaning, retail, commercial property, healthcare, education, industrial, and construction.

While official accounts for the year ended 30 September 2024 listed three employees, the workforce has since expanded to 16 people according to current LinkedIn data. The April allotment follows a £110k round in January that valued the company at £4.2m. Prior to that, the firm raised £95k in March 2025 at a £2.5m valuation and £180k in December 2024 at £2.4m.
