Ecotricity New Ventures Limited acquires 1,750,002 shares in Hre Willow Limited

Published

Hre Willow Limited, a Stroud-based company founded in 2011, manages a portfolio of wind turbines across East Anglia. The company generates electricity and provides free power to landowners while collecting Feed-in Tariff and export revenue for surplus power.

According to its latest confirmation statement for the period ending 5 June 2026, Ecotricity New Ventures Limited has joined the cap table as a major shareholder. The entity now holds 1,750,002 Ordinary shares. Ecotricity New Ventures Limited is also a shareholder in The Sky Mining Company Limited.

This entry follows the exit of two existing institutional investors. Gresham House Renewable Energy VCT 1 PLC and Gresham House Renewable Energy VCT 2 PLC both departed the cap table, having previously held 875,001 shares each. The combined total of their former holdings matches the new stake held by Ecotricity New Ventures Limited.

Tumblewind Limited remains on the cap table with a holding of 245,000 shares. These changes were recorded in a filing made at Companies House on 14 July 2026. The consolidation of shares under a single new entity may signal a recent transaction between the departing venture capital trusts and the new entrant.
