Ventrazym secures £10k for non-animal digestive enzyme development

Research and development of a non-animal derived digestive enzyme blend is the focus of Ventrazym Ltd, which has just raised £10k. Based in London, the company is working on its VentraZym product to initiate digestion in the stomach for patients requiring Pancreatic Exocrine Replacement Therapy (PERT).

The startup targets individuals suffering from conditions such as pancreatic cancer, chronic pancreatitis, and cystic fibrosis, as well as those with indigestion or dyspepsia, to improve patient quality of life.

Incorporated in March 2026, the business has now raised a total of £91.8k across the current calendar year. This latest funding round results in an estimated post-money valuation of £136.6k, with documentation filed in September 2026.
