Biodiversity Units Uk Ltd has reached an estimated post-money valuation of £4.1m following a new £250k funding round. The Southampton-based company operates as a broker and advisory service, assisting property developers, planning consultants, and ecologists in England with meeting mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) obligations.

Founded in 2023, the firm sources and supplies BNG units from a network of habitat banks, offering expert advice, matched pricing, and planning support for development projects.

According to financial records for the year ended 31 December 2024, the business employed one person. The 2026 funding total follows a smaller amount of £35k raised during 2025. Formal documentation for this latest capital injection was filed in July 2026, following an allotment of shares that took place in April 2026.
