Treestock secures £202.5k for forest intelligence platform

Forestry professionals and landowners can access data on individual tree properties through a scanning platform developed by Treestock Ltd. The Sheffield-based business recently raised an estimated £202.5k in a funding round that values the company at approximately £2.2m.

Incorporated in October 2025, the startup uses cutting-edge scanning technology to identify, model, and quantify tree characteristics, providing insights intended to improve decision-making for ecologists. These metrics are used for environmental monitoring and commercial land assessment. The platform is designed to facilitate improved forest management through the provision of accurate data.

The firm specialises in business and domestic software development and currently employs six people. Treestock operates the treestock.io website. This capital injection follows an allotment of shares that occurred in April, with the corresponding documentation filed in July.
