Integrating real-time Earth Observation satellite imagery with Internet of Things (IoT) data, including video, location, biometrics, and audio, is the core focus of Glasgow-based Space Aye Limited. The company, which recently raised an estimated £360.4k at a £9.9m valuation, provides geospatial solutions to corporate and government clients across sectors such as defence, security, environmental monitoring, and logistics.

The technology identifies people, vehicles, and objects to improve upon traditional mapping services that rely on historic imagery. The firm holds inter-continental patents for this process.

Incorporated in 2012, the company reported a £571.7k loss for the financial year ending 30 April 2025. While official filings recorded 12 employees during that period, current LinkedIn data suggests a headcount of 19. The business operates in the software development and space manufacturing industries, specializing in space-to-consumer strategies and scientific approaches to travel. Documentation for the capital increase was filed in June.
