Homeowners looking to transition to heat pumps are the primary target for Warmur Technology Ltd, an Edinburgh-based software developer that has just closed a new funding round. The company, which was incorporated on June 7, 2023, provides property data analysis and software-generated energy reports to help users navigate residential heating upgrades.

The latest filing, dated May 3, 2026, indicates an allotment of shares that took place on April 2, 2026. This round is estimated at £110k, bringing the company post-money valuation to approximately £1m.

Warmur Technology focuses on the residential energy sector, specifically assisting with the assessment and installation of heat pumps. Its primary offering is the Warmur Passport, a digital tool designed to guide energy decisions by analyzing property data to improve efficiency and lower heating costs. The company currently employs 7 people to manage its software development and assessment services.

This funding round follows a series of capital raises over the past three years. The current £1m valuation marks a shift from previous figures recorded in the company history. In February 2025, the business raised £103.8k at a valuation of £4.1m. This was preceded by a round in October 2024, where £135k was raised at a valuation of £819.3k.

During the summer of 2024, the company valuation remained consistent. Two allotments on August 14, 2024, each for £55k, were completed at a valuation of £1.9m. This matched the valuation from an earlier round on April 5, 2024, which raised £65k. The company first recorded funding event occurred shortly after its incorporation, on August 25, 2023, when it raised £82.7k at a valuation of £325.5k.

The Edinburgh-based firm operates within the business and domestic software development sector. Its services are built around property data analysis, aiming to provide homeowners with clear pathways to reduce their carbon footprint through technical heating upgrades. The company has not released specific profit or loss figures in its latest filings, but the team size is recorded at 7 employees.

With this latest £110k injection, Warmur Technology continues to develop its energy report software and the Warmur Passport system. The total capital raised across all recorded rounds since 2023 now exceeds £600k.
