Sheffield holding firm Texmo secures £22.3m investment
Published
Sheffield-based Texmo Holdings Limited has secured an estimated £22.3m in new funding. The company, which was incorporated in 2023, operates as a holding entity for a group of businesses. Its activities involve holding other companies, specifically excluding those in the agricultural, production, construction, distribution, and financial services sectors.
While its primary registration covers holding company activities, the business identifies as an industrial machinery manufacturer via its website, texmo.com. Financial statements for the year ending 31 March 2025 report that the business generated £61.1m in revenue. These accounts also reveal a £30.2m loss for the same period.
The group maintains a significant workforce, with its latest financial filing reporting 948 employees. This figure contrasts with the company's LinkedIn profile, which currently lists 280 staff members. The capital injection follows a share allotment that took place earlier this year (March 2026), with the corresponding paperwork filed with Companies House in September.
