An estimated £550k has been raised by a Warrington-based company specialising in PLC-based automation and controls solutions. Founded in 2015, the firm provides technical support services within the retail office equipment industry. No valuation was disclosed for the round.

Sperrin Automation And Controls Limited reported a headcount of six staff members in financial accounts for the year ended 31 January 2025. This figure differs from the company's LinkedIn profile, which currently lists a total of two employees.

Eamon Patrick Ward joined the board as a director in April. This appointment occurred alongside the share allotment, while the corresponding regulatory documentation was filed in June.
