Moth Limited secures £2.1m for quantum technology development

Consumer products powered by quantum computing are the focus of Moth Limited, which has secured an estimated £2.1m in a Series A funding round. This capital injection targets the creation of offerings for the media and entertainment sectors.

The London-based enterprise was incorporated in 2022 and has raised a total of £5.1m during 2026. Its operations include data archiving, backup services, and software disaster recovery, alongside the installation of personal computers and peripheral equipment.

While the company’s accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 recorded a headcount of five staff, current LinkedIn data indicates the workforce has expanded to 24 employees. The firm maintains its digital presence at mothquantum.com. The investment follows an allotment of shares in May, with formal documentation filed in June.
