Cheltenham startup Squirrelled raises £53k for school cashback app
Published
An estimated post-money valuation of £2.7m has been reached by Squirrelled Holdings Limited following a new £53.5k investment. The Cheltenham-based company operates a free mobile application that allows families to accumulate cashback while shopping online, with a predetermined share of those earnings being sent directly to their child’s school.
The platform was incorporated in 2021 to facilitate micro-donations for educational communities. By targeting parents, children, and Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs), the app automates the process of generating funds through everyday consumer spending.
This capital injection constitutes the total funding raised so far in 2026 and follows a previous year where the business secured £29.5k. The recent allotment took place in May, with formal documentation filed in June. The most recent accounts for the firm were filed for the financial year ending 31 July 2025.
