Spaceflux secures £2.4m seed investment for AI-driven space tracking platform

Mapping satellites and space debris is the core focus of Spaceflux, a London-based space intelligence company that has secured an estimated £2.4m in a seed funding round. The company provides Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) services to governments, satellite operators, and the insurance industry.
Founded in 2022, Spaceflux operates a proprietary global network of optical sensors across five continents. These sensors feed data into Cortex, an AI-driven analytics platform designed to track and map satellites and space debris across all orbital regimes. The technology is used to prevent orbital collisions and provide real-time intelligence for mission-critical operations.
This £2.4m investment (allotted in April and filed in May) follows a series of funding activities over the past year. In March, the company raised £1m at a valuation of £16m. Previous seed injections include £999.9k in July 2025 and £4.3m in June 2025. An earlier round in November 2023 raised £99.9k.
Spaceflux is headquartered in London and maintains operations in Italy. While the company's accounts for the year ended 30 April 2025 recorded 9 employees, current LinkedIn data indicates the workforce has grown to 34 staff members. The firm focuses on delivering sovereign space domain awareness and behavioural analysis of objects in orbit. The platform turns continuous observation into operational intelligence, including catalogue maintenance and mission-critical behavioural analysis to enhance space safety.
