London surgical intelligence startup Xrlabs Ltd raises £6.3m seed round

Surgical intelligence company Xrlabs Ltd has closed an estimated £6.3m seed funding round to expand its mixed reality technology. Based in London, the firm develops XRlabs SIM, a flagship product that converts 2D medical imagery into immersive 3D simulations. This software is designed for healthcare professionals and medical institutions to assist with surgical planning, training, and real-time visualization.

Incorporated in 2024, the business aims to improve surgical precision and patient outcomes through enhanced education tools. The company targets a global market of medical practitioners. Financial records for the year ended 31 January 2026 show the company operated with a team of four employees.

The current investment follows £2m raised during 2025, bringing the total funding secured since incorporation to £8.3m. Documentation for the seed round was filed and allotted in August 2026.
