Gateshead-based Gastronorth Group secures £600k funding

An estimated £600k investment has been secured by Gastronorth Group Limited, a business in the design services industry specializing in the installation of professional foodservice systems. The capital injection values the firm at approximately £1.2m.

Operating from Gateshead, the company works across all sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. Its service portfolio includes commercial kitchen design, catering equipment supply, maintenance, and kitchen refurbishment for clients ranging from Michelin-starred restaurants to large-scale banqueting systems. The group also provides one-off equipment replacements for its customer base.

Incorporated in April, the workforce currently consists of 14 employees. The transaction was finalized recently (July 2026), according to documents filed with Companies House. The firm, which also operates as GastroNorth Ltd, describes itself as a market leader in its field and maintains an online presence at gastronorth.co.uk.
