Kvector secures £2.8m for metasurface-based communication systems

High-efficiency and high-gain communication and sensing products are being developed by Kvector Limited using low-loss dynamic metasurface structures. The company specializes in advanced beam scanning radar, Satcom, and telecom systems. Based in Walsall, the business has secured an estimated £2.8m in its latest funding round.

The firm targets markets that involve unlocking new spectrums for future applications. Its technical capabilities include custom photonic chip design and the provision of tailored software solutions. Since its incorporation in 2024, the startup has focused on wireless telecommunications activities.

LinkedIn data indicates the company, which operates the website kvector.com, currently maintains a team of two employees. Financial records for the year ended 30 April 2025 have been filed. Documentation for this funding round was processed in July 2026 (with an allotment date also recorded in July).
