Firstserv Limited secures £22.5k for managed hosting expansion

Bespoke managed hosting provider Firstserv Limited has secured £22.5k in a new funding round that values the company at an estimated £165k. Incorporated in 2017, the Warrington-based firm provides government-approved assured cloud environments and business continuity solutions such as Backup as a Service and Disaster Recovery as a Service. These products serve UK public and private sector organizations including financial and educational institutions, publishers, retailers, charities, and national health service bodies.

The company focuses on clients whose online presence is sacrosanct, offering tier 3 support with 15-minute service level agreements. While official accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 reported a single employee, LinkedIn data suggests a team of four and lists a headquarters in Winsford. Firstserv has previously expanded through the acquisition of entities such as Register1, Serverstream, and GBServers. Documentation for this latest capital injection was filed in July (following an allotment in April).
