Development of the miONCO-Dx screening tool has been bolstered by an estimated £1.5m investment into Xgenera Ltd. This blood-based multi-cancer early detection system is designed for use in the healthcare market, utilizing advanced algorithms to identify diseases at their earliest stages. The technology aims to improve patient outcomes by enabling treatment when it is most effective.
Based in Southampton, the company was founded in 2023 to focus on research and experimental development within natural sciences and engineering. The current funding round, which was filed in July, follows an allotment of shares completed in June. This investment constitutes the total capital raised by the business during 2026.
Financial accounts for the period ending 30 April 2025 recorded a headcount of six employees. More recent figures from LinkedIn suggest the workforce has expanded to seven staff members. The biotechnology research firm operates its primary digital presence at xgenera.com.
