Payment orchestration platform BR-DGE has secured an estimated £16.5m in its latest funding round. The company, which operates as Comcarde Limited, is based in Edinburgh and provides a unified abstraction layer that allows businesses to manage multiple payment service providers, alternative payment methods, and digital wallets through a single integration. This platform is designed to help businesses optimize payment acceptance rates and route transactions efficiently while integrating fraud services.
Founded in 2013, the company addresses the complexity of managing fragmented payment ecosystems for platforms and payment providers. Financial accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 show Comcarde Limited generated revenue of £523.7k. During the same period, the business recorded a loss of £6.2m and employed 73 people.
This latest £16.5m injection follows a £20m round completed in December 2025. Previous capital raises include a £2m round in February 2022 and a £6m round in May 2021. Earlier funding history dates back to 2015, with various smaller allotments including £750k in May 2015 and £583.1k in August 2017. The current round was documented in May (following an allotment of shares in April).
In conjunction with the recent funding activity, Jake Kleiner was appointed as a director in April. The company targets businesses, platforms, and payment providers seeking to streamline payment processes and integrate various fraud services through a single solution. LinkedIn data indicates the company also focuses on payments security and mobile payments innovation.
