Broker Insights secures £1m for insurance data platform

Connecting insurance brokers and insurers through a unified data lake, Broker Insights Limited has raised an estimated £1m. The Dundee-based company operates the Broker Insights Vision platform, which normalises fragmented information from over 150 broker books. This technology processes more than £10bn in Gross Written Premium monthly.

Incorporated in 2017, the firm addresses the challenge of siloed information by preparing industry data for artificial intelligence applications. Its software suite includes tools for data health checks, benchmarking, and identifying coverage gaps. According to company records, the platform currently powers over 40 percent of placement decisions within the UK market.

This latest injection brings the total capital raised by the business during the current calendar year to £1.3m (August 2026). The figure follows a significantly larger funding year in 2025, during which the company secured £8.9m.

Financial records for the year ended 31 January 2025 show the business employed 57 people. The company has recently expanded its operations into the United States and Europe.
