Farnham music tech startup Bloctave secures funding for royalty platform
Published
Music royalty distribution is the focus of Bloctave Ltd, which has recently secured an estimated £45k in new funding. The company provides a real-time solution for the industry to identify, verify, and calculate payments for rightsholders. By offering analytics for tracking performance, the platform aims to facilitate these transactions without the standard industry wait times.
Based in Farnham and incorporated in 2024, the business reached an estimated post-money valuation of £2.5m following this round. This investment follows a previous funding total of £30k raised during 2025. The technology automates the distribution process to ensure rightsholders receive funds without the delays typical of traditional industry models.
Financial records for the year ended 30 June 2025 show the company employed two people. Documentation for the current share allotment was filed in July 2026 (following an initial allotment date in January).
