Vollou secures £170k to automate live music royalty tracking

Published

Artists, publishers, and venues often lose out on payments when live DJ sets go unrecorded, a problem London-based Vollou Ltd aims to solve with its AI-powered tracking technology. The company has reached a post-money valuation of approximately £5.2m following a recent funding round.

Incorporated in 2020, the business provides a mobile application for DJs and a dedicated venue device to capture performance data at the source. This system automates submissions to performing rights organisations, providing reliable data for club nights and live events that typically lack accurate reporting.

Latest financial accounts for the year ended 31 December 2025 show the company employed four people. More recent data from LinkedIn indicates the headcount has since grown to six staff members. The estimated £170k raise represents the total funding recorded for the company in 2026. This investment follows a share allotment in May (with formal documentation filed in June).
