A mobile application that allows law enforcement and security analysts to interview AI "victims" of crime has secured approximately £150k for its developer, Actr-ai Limited. The technology utilizes a familiar messaging interface to simulate realistic interactions and provides scenario briefings to guide user questioning techniques.

Based in London and incorporated in 2024, the business focuses on training for professionals who conduct investigations involving artificial intelligence. This latest round values the company at an estimated £1.5m.

The investment follows a previous funding total of £100k raised throughout 2025. Financial records for the firm show the most recent accounts were prepared for the year ending 31 January 2025. Formal documentation for this current share allotment was filed in June 2026.
