Zonova Technologies secures £1.3m to develop antibiotic-free antimicrobial solutions

To address healthcare-associated infections without using antibiotics, Zonova Technologies Ltd has raised an estimated £1.3m. Based in London, the company develops novel antimicrobial technology designed to be integrated directly into medical devices. These solutions are intended for use by healthcare providers and device manufacturers across both human and animal health sectors.
The biotechnology firm was incorporated in 2023. This latest capital injection, for which a valuation was not disclosed, brings the total funding raised by the company in 2026 to £1.7m. The business previously secured £380.5k during 2025.
Financial records for the year ended 31 March 2026 show the business employed a team of four people. Documentation for this funding round was filed in June, following an allotment of shares that took place in May.
