King's Lynn biotech startup Wound Plus Ltd secures £15k investment

Research and experimental development on biotechnology is the core focus of Wound Plus Ltd, which has recently secured an estimated £15k in new funding. Based in King's Lynn, the company was incorporated in November 2025 to conduct biology research and experimental development on bioinformatics. Its technical scope includes work on cell and tissue culture, DNA/RNA, and gene and RNA vectors.

This latest investment brings the firm (UK company number 16827619) to an estimated post-money valuation of £1.3m. The business has raised a total of £75k during 2026, following a capital intake of £637.3k in 2025.

The startup also utilizes nanobiotechnology and various process biotechnology techniques within its operations. Formal documentation for this specific funding round was filed in July, following an allotment of shares that took place in June.
