Developing next-generation antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) therapeutics to treat serious diseases is the primary focus of Cora Biosciences Limited. The spin-out targets patients with high-impact medical conditions that can be specifically addressed by these treatments. A £4m seed funding round was recently secured.
Incorporated in July 2025, the venture-backed firm operates within the sector of research and experimental development on biotechnology. This latest investment follows £3m raised during its founding year, bringing the total capital secured by the company to £7m.
Corporate filings locate the company in Huntingdon, though LinkedIn data for LI-COR Biosciences UK Limited identifies a headquarters at the St Johns Innovation Centre on Cowley Road in Cambridge. These records, which list the business under the wholesale industry, also suggest the entity currently has zero employees. Documentation for the recent allotment was filed in July 2026, with the shares issued the same month.
