Mosaic Therapeutics secures £20.7m growth capital for oncology medicines

An estimated £20.7m growth funding round has been raised by Mosaic Therapeutics to support its development of biomarker-defined treatments. Based in Babraham and incorporated in 2020, the company focuses on creating targeted combination therapies for patients with substantial unmet needs. Its approach utilizes a dual system that combines computational and experimental biology, including machine learning and genomics.
This new investment follows a total of £10.8m recorded during 2025. Financial accounts for the year ending 31 December 2024 reveal the business reported a £7.6m loss. While LinkedIn data indicates a headcount of 15, the firm's latest statutory filings show 23 staff members.
This research originated from the Wellcome Sanger Institute in collaboration with the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Its proprietary framework, which has undergone two decades of refinement, is used to advance drug discovery. Dr. Jeynes Allison joined the board as a director in August (2026).
