Vinci Books secures £4m to expand publishing technology platform
Published
More than 2,000 titles have been published by Vinci Books Ltd since its incorporation in 2023. The UK-based publishing and technology firm, which operates from Nr Banbury and was founded by Mark Smith, recently secured an estimated £4m in new funding.
Comprehensive support is provided for both self-published and traditionally published writers, with services spanning print, audio, and translated formats. The business addresses the needs of authors seeking assistance with the publishing process through a combination of digital marketing expertise and proprietary technology tools. These tools are also utilized by other publishers across the industry to grow their reach.
This latest capital injection follows a total of £4.3m raised during 2025. Total funding for 2026 now stands at £3.9m. While accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 recorded 17 employees, current LinkedIn data indicates the workforce has grown to 32 staff members.
International operations are supported by colleagues located in the USA, Europe, Australia, and South Africa. Documentation for the share allotment was filed in June.
