UAV Launch System Manufacturer Verzon Engineering Secures £1m

Rapid deployment for fixed-wing drones is the focus of Presteigne-based Verzon Engineering Ltd, which produces sovereign launch systems in-house. The company designs its hardware within the UK to serve the uncrewed aerial vehicle industry, specifically targeting requirements for defense, surveillance, and commercial operations.

An estimated £1000k has been raised in a recent funding round. This investment places the post-money valuation of the business at approximately £5m.

The startup, which maintains a web presence at verzon.co.uk, was incorporated in July 2025 and currently lists three employees on its LinkedIn profile. It operates within the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing sector.

Documentation for the transaction was filed in July, following an original allotment date in April. Latest accounts for the business were recorded for the financial year ending 31 March 2026.
