Ipulse Limited secures £10m for SmoothSkin technology

An estimated £10m funding round has been completed by Ipulse Limited, a Swansea-based technology company specializing in the design and production of intense pulsed light (IPL) hair removal devices. These home-use light therapy systems are primarily marketed under the brand name SmoothSkin to provide long-term hair reduction for users in the global consumer beauty and personal care market.

Incorporation occurred in 2012. Financial records for the year ending 31 December 2025 show a generated profit of £5.5m. The workforce currently consists of 321 employees.

The sum represents the total amount raised during 2026. Filing documentation for the transaction was submitted in September, following an allotment of shares that occurred in August.
