A London-based developer of medical treatments, Ventrazym Ltd, is creating a non-animal derived digestive enzyme blend called VentraZym. The company recently secured £81.8k in a funding round that places its estimated post-money valuation at £904.6k.
The research effort focuses on a product designed to initiate digestion directly in the stomach to enhance patient quality of life. This solution addresses the needs of individuals requiring Pancreatic Exocrine Replacement Therapy (PERT). Target patients include those diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, cystic fibrosis, or chronic pancreatitis. The enzyme blend also serves people suffering from other digestive issues such as dyspepsia and indigestion.
The business was incorporated in March. This latest allotment of shares was finalized in July 2026, according to filings. The startup is currently classified as a consultancy for its official corporate registration.
