Vchrgd Technologies secures £406k to expand EV charging hardware range

Operating within the electrical equipment manufacturing sector, Vchrgd Technologies Ltd has secured an estimated £406.6k in its most recent funding round. Based in Bourne End, the company designs, manufactures, and supplies premium equipment including 7kW home chargers alongside 22kW units available in single or dual-socket configurations. These OZEV-approved and OCPP-ready systems are marketed to homeowners, businesses, and fleet operators for use in public and private charging environments across the UK.

Incorporated in 2021, the business previously raised a funding total of £126k during the 2025 calendar year. The current round contributes to a total of £568.8k raised so far in 2026.

Financial records for the period ending 31 March 2025 show that the firm employed five staff members. This latest round of capital was finalised following a share allotment in June, with the corresponding paperwork filed in July.
