Omni Pet Ltd secures £2.5m Series A for plant-based dog food expansion

An estimated £2.5m Series A round has been raised by Omni Pet Ltd to expand its production of plant-based dog food. Based in London, the company manufactures allergy-friendly treats and supplements formulated by veterinarians and pet nutrition scientists. These items use ingredients designed as science-backed alternatives to traditional canine diets.

Founded in 2020, the business addresses environmental concerns associated with unwanted animal by-products. Its products target health-conscious owners seeking sustainable options that reduce the carbon footprint typically linked to the CO2 polluting meat industry.

Total capital reached £3.2m in 2026, following £8.1m secured during 2025. Accounts for the date ending 30 November 2024 recorded a headcount of 32, though current LinkedIn data lists 28 employees.

Gabrielle Lauren Swycher was appointed as a director in June, the same month as the allotment. Formal documentation for the investment was filed in July.
