Texmo Blank secures £16.1m for precision casting operations

An estimated £16.1m has been raised by Texmo Blank Limited, a Sheffield-based manufacturer of complex steel components. The company specializes in precision investment casting for the aerospace, automotive, medical, and industrial sectors, utilizing the lost-wax process for global engineering applications.

Founded in 2009, the business reported revenue of £1.7m for the financial year ending 31 March 2025. During this period, it recorded a loss of £52.8m. While statutory filings listed 9 employees, the firm’s LinkedIn profile suggests a local workforce of 364 people.

The wider Texmo Blank Group maintains an international footprint with 85,000 square metres of production area across North America, Europe, and Asia. It employs more than 1,750 qualified staff and focuses on manufacturing long lifespan aluminium, cobalt, and nickel-based castings in air and vacuum environments.

The company has recorded a total of £5.5m in funding for 2026. Formal documentation for the £16.1m capital injection was filed in June (with an allotment date in March).
