Supersmith raises £419.3k for foldable mobility scooter production

Bristol-based Supersmith is developing the 3Scooter, a three-wheeled mobility vehicle designed with self-stabilisation technology and intelligent robotics. The company recently secured £419.3k in new funding, reaching an estimated post-money valuation of £5.9m.

Founded in 2019, the manufacturer focuses on creating lightweight, foldable invalid carriages for individuals who require compact assistance. The startup aims to launch its flagship model in 2025 to assist users who find walking difficult.

This latest capital injection follows a total of £928.6k secured during 2025. For the current 2026 calendar year, the firm has recorded £334.3k in aggregate investment. Documentation for the most recent allotment was filed in June.

According to accounts for the year ended 31 March 2026, the business employed six people. LinkedIn data indicates a larger team of 10 staff members. The company maintains its digital presence at supersmith.co.
