Glasgow-based Studysetgo secures £50k for clinical trial platform

An estimated £50k investment has been secured by Glasgow-based Studysetgo, bringing its total capital raised this year to £120k. The company designs and runs managed clinical trials for health, nutrition, and wellness brands, allowing clients to own and publish their resulting study data. This latest funding gives the business an estimated post-money valuation of £3.2m.

Founded in 2024, the startup aims to make clinical evidence more accessible through a remote-first model that includes independent ethics approval. Its platform features StudyRecruit, a tool designed to help research teams find participants quickly, while a dedicated research team handles protocol design and data delivery.

The company reported two employees in its accounts for the year ended 31 August 2025, though LinkedIn data currently lists a headcount of nine. Previous funding activity in 2025 saw the business raise £20k.

Richard King was appointed as a director in July 2026. The company also facilitates advisory and consulting work by connecting brands with external researchers.
