A £75k investment has been secured by Story Bug Ltd, a London-based company trading as Jules Stories. The business manufactures Jules, an interactive and screen-free AI storytelling device. Designed for children's education and imaginative play, the tool provides voice-interactive learning that aligns with educational curricula for parents and educators seeking alternatives to passive screen time.

This recent capital injection brings the total funding raised in 2026 to £225k. The round values the business at an estimated £4.8m post-money. During the previous calendar year, the firm raised a total of £312.9k.

Incorporated in 2024, the startup operates within the games and toys manufacturing sector. While the company's latest accounts for the year ended 30 December 2025 recorded a single employee, LinkedIn data suggests a headcount of four. That profile also describes the business as a global online retailer of customizable children's books within the book and periodical publishing industry, with a headquarters in Princeton, US.

Formal documentation for the current share allotment was filed in June 2026.
