London Fintech Ssimple Secures £500k to Automate Capital Market Data
Published
Capital market participants seeking to meet T+1 settlement requirements are the target audience for Ssimple Ltd, a London fintech that recently secured £500.3k in new funding. This latest injection values the business at an estimated £8.6m. Founded in 2022, the company provides a suite of tools designed to automate, validate, and maintain Standing Settlement Instruction (SSI) data.
The firm offers three core products: SSI Automate, SSI Validate, and SSI Comply. These services help banks, custodians, and other financial institutions reduce settlement failures by streamlining post-trade processes. Financial records for the year ending 28 February 2025 show the company operated with a team of three employees and reported a £287k loss.
This funding follows a larger capital raise in 2025, when the startup secured £1.2m. Documentation for the current round was filed in July, following an allotment of shares in June.
Oliver Paul Maxwell joined the board as a director in July. LinkedIn data suggests he may be a partner at Smith Partnership and a trustee of Umbrella Derby and Derbyshire, though this employer link remains unverified. He has previously been described as very talented in the Legal 500.
