Published
Searchsmartly Limited provides an AI-powered property discovery platform and API designed to match consumers with ideal homes based on specific needs. The London-based company recently added an estimated £135k in new funding, bringing its total capital raised in 2026 to £506.4k. This latest injection values the business at a post-money £9.2m.
Founded in 2017, the firm develops technology for property portals and real estate agents globally. Its suite of tools includes SmartScore and computer vision for automated image tagging and hyper-personalised recommendations. These algorithms turn location data, descriptions, and images into insights intended to improve user experience and increase conversion rates for partners.
The software supports international providers of holiday homes, retirement communities, and pet-friendly rentals. Beyond standard industry platforms, the product is used by niche marketplaces to automate listing quality and filtering processes. LinkedIn data indicates the workforce consists of 15 people, though the most recent accounts for the year ended 31 December 2025 recorded a headcount of 6.
Previous backing for the startup has come from investors including Blue Lake VC, REACH UK, Second Century Ventures, and Clearance Venture Partners. Documentation for the most recent share allotment was filed in September (following an August allotment date).
