Scarlet Global Holdings secures £36.8m Series B for medical AI certification

Regulatory certification specialist Scarlet Global Holdings Ltd has raised £36.8m in a Series B funding round. Based in London, the company functions as a Notified Body that provides essential compliance services for AI-driven medical software. Its primary focus is helping developers navigate the path to market for software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) products more quickly.

The business, which operates within the business and domestic software development sector, was incorporated in 2020. Its target market consists of companies building next-generation medical AI solutions. This investment constitutes the entirety of the capital raised by the firm during 2026.

Financial records for the period ending 31 December 2024 indicate the company maintained a team of nine employees. Recent corporate filings from September of this year confirm the appointment of Nancy Xiao Mclaughlin to the board of directors. LinkedIn profiles suggest Mclaughlin is possibly a partner at Headline Growth.
