Deontics secures £200k to advance AI clinical decision support tools

Clinical decision support systems developer Deontics Limited has secured an estimated £200k in new funding. Based in London, the company creates software tools designed to facilitate evidence-based, personalized medicine for clinicians and patients in primary, secondary, and tertiary care settings.
Founded in 2013 as a spin out from Oxford University, University College London, and Cancer Research UK, the firm specializes in clinically-driven AI systems. Its platform processes individual patient data alongside clinical guidelines to generate transparent treatment recommendations that integrate into electronic medical records and healthcare workflows.
This latest investment brings the total capital raised in 2026 to £500k, following a larger intake of £1.2m during 2025. The recent funding was documented in filings made this month (September 2026), following an allotment of shares in August.
The company reported 10 employees in its latest accounts for the year ending 31 December 2025, while its LinkedIn profile currently lists a headcount of 12.
