An estimated £262.8k has been raised by Poddle.io Ltd to support the growth of its AI-powered loyalty platform for local businesses. Based in London, the startup reached an estimated post-money valuation of £2.6m following the investment.
Poddle provides an all-in-one loyalty club designed to help independent businesses compete with larger chains. The service uses smartcards to capture customer contact details at the point of sale. The platform then uses AI to automate targeted messaging, aiming to increase repeat visits and drive sales for small-scale enterprises.
The company was incorporated in 2024 to solve the problem of manual data entry and inconsistent customer engagement in the local business sector. By automating the marketing process, the software allows business owners to maintain a digital loyalty program without significant time investment.
According to the latest accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025, Poddle.io Ltd operates with a team of two employees. This funding round follows a share allotment (March) and subsequent filing (May). The new capital provides the resources to further develop the core software and expand the user base of the poddle service.
