Pellerin Books secures £100k for independent fiction publishing venture

An estimated £100k has been raised by Pellerin Books Ltd, an independent UK publisher based in London. This investment places the post-money valuation of the business at approximately £1.1m. The company focuses on releasing engaging contemporary stories across genres including thriller, romance, historical, science-fiction, and fantasy.

Incorporated in May 2025, the firm was established to change how readers discover and fall in love with popular fiction. While latest accounts for the period ending 31 December that year reported a headcount of two employees, LinkedIn data now lists five staff members.

The transaction brings the total capital raised during 2026 to £150k. This follows a total of £250k in funding secured across the previous year. Documentation was filed in July, with the allotment of shares also occurring during that month. The publisher is currently listed as launching soon on its website, pellerinbooks.com.
