Ouro Medicines reaches £29.5m valuation following £7.4m investment

Developing immune reset therapeutics to treat chronic immune-mediated diseases, Altrincham-based Ouro Medicines Ltd has secured £7.4m in its latest funding round. This investment brings the clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company to an estimated post-money valuation of £29.5m.

The firm focuses specifically on T cell engagers designed to achieve durable remissions for patients suffering from severe autoimmune conditions, including Sjögren's disease, idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, and autoimmune cytopenias. These products aim to eliminate the need for ongoing immunosuppression.

Incorporated in 2024, the company operates within the sector for other research and experimental development on natural sciences and engineering. It has now raised a total of £20.9m in capital. This figure includes £13.5m in funding recorded during 2025. The filing for this investment was completed in June (allotted in February).
