Developing next-generation CAR-T cell therapies to treat solid tumours, Wilmslow-based ImmunoKey has secured an estimated £907.8k in seed funding. The biotechnology firm focuses on an ovarian-cancer product designed to provide durable, cell-based cancer treatments.
Incorporated in 2024, the company addresses the technical challenges involved in successfully treating solid tumours using immunotherapy. This latest capital injection brings the total funding raised in 2026 to £1.1m, following a total of £605k raised throughout 2025.
Financial accounts for the period ending 28 February 2025 recorded a headcount of five employees. Current data from LinkedIn indicates the workforce has since grown to eight staff members. The business maintains its headquarters in Macclesfield.
The round was formalised through an allotment of shares (July 2026), with documentation filed the following month. Elizabeth Young joined the board as a director in August; LinkedIn profiles suggest she is possibly an investment manager at PXN Group.
